Michelle Trachtenberg was born in New York America in October 11, 1985. Her full name is Michelle Christine Trachtenberg. She is an actress and a model. Michelle had her first television appearance in 1988 in a commercial for a detergent. She went on to feature in over more 100 commercials. Her first credited role came in 1993; she played Nona in “the adventures of pete and pete” from 1994 until 1996. During the same period she played the second lily Montgomery in “all my children” that Trachtenberg first worked with future Buffy Co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Michelle’s film career began in 1996 with load role in “Harriet the spy”. She returned to television for Meego, for which she won a “young artist award;. She returned to the film in 1999 for “inspector gadget (movie) that she played the gadget master’s niece, “penny”. She also starred in film “can’t be heaven. In summer 2000 Trachtenberg took up the role of “Dawn Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer”. She remained in the role until the show ended in 2003. She returned to film, with the recent Euro trip, Co-starring Scott Mechlowicz, Travis Wester and directed by Jeff Schaffer.

Michelle latest role in feature film came in the summer 2005, where she played the title character in Walt Disney Pictures Family Comedy “Ice princess”. In this Film, Trachtenberg plays a math whiz named Casey Carlyle who gives up her future academic life to chase her long life dream of being a professional figure skater. The film also stars Joan Cusack as Casey’s mother and Kim Cattral as Casey’s strict coach, Tina Harwood. She had a recurring role in the HBO series “six feet under as Celeste”, a spoiled pop star for whim Keith serves as a bodyguard. Beginning in fall 2009, Trachtenberg is a cast member on the NBC drama Mercy. 

Trachtenberg appeared in the 2009 movie 17 again alongside Zac Efron, starring Knight and Mathew Perry/ she has a small role in the comedy film Cop Out.
